Washable mouse and keyboards are easy to keep clean but they might not be really functional ?
Do you know that the keyboard and the mouse are very dirty? They are even dirtier than the toilet. It may seem awful but that is the naked truth. According to a recently held research, it was found out ha the mouse and the key board contains a lot of bacteria than the toilet. A lot of people do not clean them on a daily basis and this makes the bacteria to pile up and exposing one to a number of health risks.

There are a lot of germs that will end up on the mouse and key board and they will include food crumbs, dirt germs and bacteria. The keyboard has a lot of tiny spaces in between the keys and this is where the germs thrive. A lot of people think that wiping the key board will make it to be very clean but the germs are hidden inside the keys.

There are a number of wipes that one can use to clean the mouse and key board but this will not be sufficient enough to remove all the germs that are hidden inside. It is now possible to wash the mouse and key board in the sink to be able to get rid of all the bacteria that are hidden in there. You need to get rib of all the plugs that come with the mouse and key board and avoid getting them into the water. You will then wash it the normal way you will wash utensils with water and soap and make sure you put much emphasis in between the spaces. You will then leave them for a period of 12 hours to dry up completely. Do not reconnect them back on the machine if they are wet.

However, after a period of time, the devices will not be able to function appropriately. It will be hard to press the keys of the key board and the mouse will be much more difficulty to click. You will have achieved the cleanliness but you will have destroyed the effectiveness of these devices. A lot of people have tried this method and in the long run, they have been required to purchase other new devices since using them tend to be very hectic. It is also important to keep the devices clean but there is no easy way to do it.

Other people have tried the same method but this time, they are using the dish washer. It will be very clean but due to the water and soap, it will be very hard to click on the keys

The solution to this will be to use a blower that will effectively blow all the dust form the mouse and the keyboard. However, this should be done on a routinely basis and during the other days, it will be wise to use the disinfectant wipes to keep them clean. Avoid eating food near the computer since the food particles will land in between the keys.
